Smart Marketing for Therapists: Social Media & Beyond

  • PractiSage Therapist Collective 1125 North Loop West, Suite 935 Houston, TX, 77008 United States (map)

Marketing as a therapist can feel overwhelming, with countless recommendations and little guidance on where to focus your limited time and budget. In this training, we'll explore different marketing avenues, including but not limited to social media, and discuss how to prioritize your efforts effectively.

Rather than pushing social media as a must-have for all clinicians, this session will provide a balanced approach, helping you determine what makes the most sense for your practice and personal comfort level. You’ll walk away with a clearer strategy for marketing that feels manageable and aligned with your goals.

This workshop is designed for:

  • Therapists in private practice (new or experienced) who feel overwhelmed by marketing advice

  • Therapists who are unsure whether social media is necessary for their business

  • Mental health professionals looking for practical, time-efficient ways to attract clients

  • Therapists who are looking to supplement their private practice with another therapy-related income stream (a course, a book, etc.)

What you’ll master:

  • How to assess whether social media is necessary (or beneficial) for your practice

  • The essential marketing avenues all therapists should consider (beyond social media)

  • A framework for choosing the right marketing channels based on your strengths and goals (plus time, energy, and budget)

  • How to create a sustainable marketing plan that doesn’t feel overwhelming
