Are the office spaces accessible? 

The building and suite are wheelchair accessible and have an elevator. While there are no gender-neutral bathrooms in the building, the restrooms throughout the building are spacious and have private stalls. All members and clients are encouraged to use the restroom that matches their gender identity or preference.

May I add furnishings or personalize the office?

While we aim to provide comfortable, professional, and beautiful offices, we also understand the desire to make them yours. You are welcome to bring your own accessories (e.g., throws, pillows, decorative items, or other supplies, etc.) as long as you do not leave them in the offices. Members with day plans are provided with a container to store supplies or personal items in our storage area.

What if I want to cancel my PractiSage membership? 

You can cancel anytime, and will only be responsible for the cost of your membership for the remainder of the month . Compared to a long-term lease, where you may be on the hook for thousands of dollars or stuck with a bad landlord for years, there is minimal risk when you become a PractiSage member. 

Can I join PractiSage if I’m pre-licensed or in graduate school?  

With proof of enrollment, graduate students or trainees under a licensed professional's supervision are also eligible for membership. Your supervisor does not have to be a member of PractiSage in order for you to join. 

Do you offer Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)?

Not at this time. While PractiSage does support you in your personal and professional development, it doesn’t conform to the typical CEU requirements.  Even so, there’s so much you can gain from this community beyond CEUs. Many of our members consider PractiSage as an essential component of their development as a therapist and business owner.   

I own a group practice – or want to start one. Is this for me? 

Yes! While we focus on resources for therapists in solo practice, we do have members who own group practices. Practice owners also get a discounted rate on additional memberships. You can also connect with other therapy entrepreneurs, including group practice owners, in the online PractiSage community.

I am leaving a group practice to start my own solo practice, am I welcome here? 

Yes! Starting your own practice is a big step, and we know that you don’t want to lose the support and community you feel with other clinicians. You’ll be home and welcome at PractiSage as you leave the group practice and step into solopreneurship. 

Is my membership tax-deductible?"

Most likely, but check with your accountant. As a professional organization for licensed mental health professionals providing a network that advances your career, PractiSage is commonly considered a tax-deductible expense. We invite you to check with your accountant. If you don’t have one yet, we recommend some from our trusted PractiSage referral network. 

If I can’t attend live community events, will I be able to get a recording?

All Monthly guest expert trainings will be recorded and made available in the community. You’ll have access to recordings as long as you’re a PractiSage Community member.
